I've enjoyed the book. I read it last year and I should read it again just to see what's changed. Thanks for all the work you've done!

WoW!Excellent work...but the ending kinda left me hanging! Nooooo....! I suppose it's better that way. Oh the humanity! Or, lack of it!
"You only get one sick twisted Family in this life...and they even took that from me!" - I like that line (loosely paraphrased)...but we get the point!
It was sort of like a Borne Identity series...trying, trying to get the answers...but not really getting to the crux of the matter...and even if you did...there's no real hope! That world of "deception and treason" for real!
Thank you for sharing that with us! Very cool, indeed!
(Remember in the Incredible Hulk TV series, at the end...the man...just had to keep on moving, roaming endlessly...leaving all behind? I got that feeling for the Joe at the end. Sad really.)

While the dialogue is at times simple, the overall vision of the book is as engaging as Gibson or Stephenson. At some points the writing style is clearly influenced as if by an action movie, while the characters are real and likable, and their archetypes are strikingly similar to those in popular culture. Worth a read and can't wait for the next evolution of this story.

Great Suspenseful Read!
I read this book in the mornings before I would leave for work and there were many days where it kept me from getting to work on time because I had to find out what happened to Joe Vallone and all of his friends and enemies. I'm really not a big fan of science fiction, but this book was much closer to reality than typical science fiction. It points out that the current state of the world can lead to horrible places. When nanotechnology meets terrorism meets over-reaching law enforcement meets patents, nothing good is going to come of it. This book was a great read and I recommend it to everyone.

Nice job! No complaints, but I feel like the people who tuned into
ABC's Night Stalker one week to see a "to be continued" episode, then tuned in the next week to find the show canceled.
What's going to happen? Only the Loki in you, knows for sure. Hope you already started the sequel, because this can't sit as it is. You're going to need to spend a few more years behind the keys till the next book is out.

Come see how valuable your life 'really' is.
Thicker Than Blood is a tour through a decimated landscape in a classic
car. A mixture of the familiar and the possible that collide in unexpected
ways, when a circle of computer geeks become privy to a radical, and
effective, new medical procedure that they discover is shrouded in
mystery and is being withheld from public release.
A smooth read.

Hey, Matt.
Okay -- I love the book. I finished it in three days and I wanted to
finish it earlier. :-) I think the book is "good scifi" in all of the
important ways -- it's got some geeky detail, it's got plot, it's got
character development, and each character has some quirks, just like you'd
find in real life. In all honesty you've got a great book here.
I loved the dedications page. I was happily surprised to even be on it --
that was neat! I'm especially interested to hear who Shotgun Trucker is
now. :-)
