11/23/06 - Added several more intelligent counters.

11/21/06 - Added ask.com searches to the count exclusion. So now I exclude googlebot, msnbot, 'Yahoo! Slurp', Jeeves/Teoma, crawler@noxtrum.com, and 'Gigabot/2.0' from the total download count. I also removed my own IPs from the logs. That was another 6%.

5/6/06 - Removed the bot entries from the logs. That was about 22 percent of the count.

As of October 12, at 3 AM

• 14594 books have been downloaded.
• 13547 books have been downloaded by web browsers.
• 2272 web browsers with unique Internet addresses have downloaded the book.
• 1317 web browsers that downloaded the book once, downloaded it at least one more time. This activity accounts for about 9% of the total web browser count.
• Search engines and web crawlers downloaded the book 1047 times. About 7% of total books downloaded.
• 668 web browsers with unique Internet addresses visited the purchase page.
